We are Thomas and Josephine (Tom and JoBeth), founders and owners of The Lovemade Home. We are a small, family-owned business located in Missouri. Here is a little about us :-)
Tom and Josephine met in early 2014 and knew immediately they would make a great team, and by the fall of the same year had joined families. Tom is a veteran and was a full-time truck driver with a knack for tinkering. Josephine was a full-time, widowed mama of three with an eye for design. With combined passions, it wasnβt long before The Lovemade Home, as you know it today, was born.
Despite having no formal training in carpentry or woodworking, in Tomβs free time, he enjoyed the challenge of creating various furniture items and pieces of dΓ©cor to fill his and his brideβs home together. And with a natural eye for interior style, Josephine had no shortage of furniture and decor ideas for Tom to bring to life.
As ourΒ homeΒ started to fill with the beautiful results of ourΒ teamwork,Β weΒ soon realized we needed to share our creations with the world. AndΒ inΒ 2016Β The Lovemade Home opened its doors for business!Β
Starting a business was not something either of us had in mind, but luckily it just happened. We have a true small business. We started in a 6-foot section of our garage, then the business took over the entire garage. We clearly needed more space, so we purchased a new home and converted the basement into our own workshop. Next came an industrial cave (yes, a real cave!) and, now we work from our own building with several fantastic employees (most of them are our kids).Β
Today, we are very proud to have built tilt-out trash cabinets, laundry cabinets, food storage, dog feeders, cat feeders, coat racks, noodle boards, coffee tables, end tables, and MORE for over 15,000 happy customers across the continental US.Β
So, welcome! Come in and stay a while! Explore all the nooks and crannies of all that we build, big and small. And if you canβt find exactly what youβre looking for, contact us! We love what we do, and we are inspired to build more beautiful things to fill your home all of the time.Β
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for choosing us to fill your home with furnishings truly made with love. We look forward to continuing to do so for many, many years to come.
