We are a small, family owned business. Tom and I both work non-stop doing what we love best and feel very grateful for this opportunity. 1. What is the current lead time?
Our current lead time is LESS THAN 5 weeks as of November 22, 2022. Please know that sometimes as a small business we can hit a snag and things can slow us down but we will work hard to keep up with this posted time. We appreciate your patience while we create your beautiful handmade item!
2. Why do I not see shipping rates?
Shipping is free unless you are in Hawaii or Alaska, please message us for rates as they are NOT the same. We wish they were. We ship only to the United States (48 contiguous). We do not ship to APO, FPO or PO boxes.
We now ship to Canada. Please contact us for rates.
3. What is the difference between "assembly required" and "fully assembled plus freight shipping"?
Trash cabinets: We offer expert assembly, FedEx Freight shipping, (to the first level entrance of the home, building or driveway) and the correct number of trash cans for an additional fee. To receive your item fully assembled and delivered via freight to your driveway or curb, with all of the hamper bags or trashcans and backing please use the dropdown menu.
Otherwise, this item requires assembly. Trash cans can be purchased separately as they are not included with our assembly required option. Trash cans can be purchased here:
4. Where do you ship? Who is your shipper? How much is shipping?
Shipping is free for the contiguous U.S. We ship only to the United States.
Our bins and hampers come assembled, just reverse the handles from the inside of the cabinet to the outside. Our carrier is FedEx and UPS. We will ship to the address listed on your order. If you have entered the wrong address, just message us before we ship your item. We can help. But once it ships, it has to be redirected and FedEx charges for that service.

Large coffee tables and quad units with drawers are sent via FedEx freight. An adult may need to be present for delivery.
Other important info:
1. Do I need backing?
As of December 8, 2022 backing is included with all freight orders at no charge.
The back is open unless you purchase a bin/hamper with a drawer. If your bin/hamper has a drawer then the drawer portion is covered. See the picture below. Full hardboard backing serves no functional purpose. Our bins/hampers are sturdy and solid. Your bin/hamper is easier to clean with *no* backing attached. For those customers who would prefer backing, We do sell it separately under ADD ON ITEMS located in the top menu. This backing must be purchased at the same time as your item and can't be shipped after your cabinet has shipped without charging shipping.
If purchased, the back of the bin is hardboard backing. As you can see, it's not a 'finished' back. But then again, most backs are to the wall. Finished backing, which includes painting the backing is not available. It is only available as depicted.
2. Where is the mounting bracket on cabinets and hampers and do I need to use it?
The bracket can be found in the back of the bin/hamper on the inside. If you have a drawer, remove the drawer to locate it. If not, just open the door and look towards the back. It is built into the bar that goes across the back of the cabinet. See picture below. Drill through the backing if you have it and into your structure. We suggest mounting every piece of furniture to keep everyone safe. This is provided as a courtesy. If you need assistance, contact a professional. We provide this as a way to keep you safe however, it is your responsibility to secure your cabinet.
3. How do I use this trash cabinet/hamper?
The cabinet is very easy to use. Think of it as a cabinet door that you pull open using the handle and also hold the handle to guide the door shut. We have a video available if a visual is helpful. See below. We now equip our cabinets and hampers with soft close dampers!
Please use furniture protectors when placing items on top. To clean your cabinet, use a soft cloth, warm water and the tiniest amount of dish soap. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals. It will ruin the surface.
The trash bins will hold a 13-gallon kitchen trash bag. We currently offer trash as an add on item or you can grab your own. The cans were over measure: 11 in. W x 15.25 in. D x 19.875 in. H. It holds 41 quarts or 10.25 gallons.
Laundry hampers will come with removable, washable laundry bags…again, nice! The laundry bag dimensions are 15 ½“W x 9 ½” D x 23 ¼” H.
4. Do you have items in stock and ready to ship?
Your new cabinet will be made to order in your color choice with your handle selection and with your door center. Since each item is made fresh, we don’t have items in stock for immediate delivery. The items you see in our pictures were sold. You can count on your item to look nearly identical to the listing. Of course, if your item is stained, wood grain will vary.
Your trash cabinet or laundry hamper will take several weeks to receive. Seems like forever, but it’s worth the wait. Please keep in mind we are a very small, less than 8 person company and while we work diligently to keep our turn around time under 5 weeks, it is extremely possible to run late. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Also, we greatly appreciate your patience!
5. Do you have sales or promo codes?
We like to keep our orders at a manageable level. We are a small company of 7-9 employees. On occasion we will have a sale if we feel like we can fulfill orders in a timely manner. Additional discount codes are not valid during sales.
Sale price matching is not available during black Friday-cyber Monday sales.
Sale prices (outside of bfcm) can be price-matched for 3 days after the purchase. If it is after 3 days, no matching will be made.

Materials and colors:
1. What are the cabinets, hampers, and benches made from?
Our painted cabinets/hampers and pet products are made with engineered wood from Glacier Green, a certified green product. Our stained cabinets are Baltic Birch. We look for the best wood we can find to build your cabinet. Our wood is certified from The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is a non-profit organization committed to encouraging the responsible management of the world’s forests. This is our contribution to environmental responsibility.
This wood species is very strong and durable. Your new item will last for many years. Because the stained cabinet is made from wood please expect occurrences from nature, including texture. The cabinets will have texture. There is no edge banding. Please look carefully at our pictures. Utilize the zoom function on your device. We work hard to ensure our pictures are accurate as well as our descriptions.
We use washable, cabinet paint in a semi-gloss finish paint on our cabinets and hampers. Our tables are finished in an eggshell. To clean your cabinet, use a soft cloth, warm water and the tiniest amount of mild dish soap. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals. It will ruin the surface. Our favorite cleaner? Behr cleaning wipes! Also, we advise using felt pads under decor to protect your finish.

If you need a custom color to specifically match your decor, we do offer any of our styles as "unfinished". This allows you an opportunity to finish your cabinet at home in just the right color! Just leave a note on your order requesting unfinished. Do take a look through our listings. We have unfinished listings for most items.
Rather have a stained bin? Please be sure to understand stain uptakes differently with each piece. It will have wood grain, swirls and color variances. If this is not appealing to you, consider a painted item. Keep in mind computer monitors may impact colors. We are not responsible for this. Customers should look at colors via on-line vendor sites or in person from vendor sites.

Stained bins will have a layer of clear protector applied. Swirls and grain are present. Edges are not banded. Please utilize the zoom feature to see details.
Keep in mind when looking at the stain colors, we use Baltic birch plywood. Each wood species will react to stain in a different way. This is important if you are trying to match cabinets.
Again, we mention, a stained cabinet will have swirls and color variation along with wood grain and texture. If this is not something you prefer, consider our painted items. See the example below.
The colors listed above are the colors we stock. There is no charge for ordering the above colors. They are interchangeable.

2. I would like to use my own hardware.
Our cabinets are built with center to enter holes that measure 3 inches. This seems to be the most common dimension. We also offer 6 different handles. You are welcomed to switch your handles out once the cabinet arrives to you home. No alteration to the drill holes can be made. All cabinet will be drilled at 3 inches. We apologize for the inconvenience.
When you purchase a cabinet or hamper with a drawer, the drawer slides are full extension slides. Below find the measurements for the inside drawer dimensions:

The coffee table legs are painted soft ivory eggshell paint finish and lightly distressed. They are made of solid knotty pine.
Our default leg color is soft ivory. We do offer a soft white (by request). This white is not bright white like paper but much lighter than the soft ivory. Please see the picture below for comparison. The distressed table leg is soft ivory and the leg with no distressing is soft white.
Changes, damage, cancellations and returns
1. Can I change the dimensions?
We have several different bin dimensions in our shop and do not offer dimension changes.
Please measure your space before ordering. Some of our bins are counter height and others are not. We do our best to keep the site up to date. Please contact us if the listed dimension accuracy is crucial. We will be able to verify the size. We try to keep the website updated but we are human and listings can be missed.
2. What if I want to make a change after the order is placed?
Unfortunately, once your order is placed your choices are processed. For this reason, no changes can be made once you hit the SUBMIT button. Also know we are ALWAYS just an email away. Message us with any questions prior to ordering.
As a side note, we do offer additional panels for purchase if you chose the wrong one during the ordering process. Also, it is nice to have more than one panel! You can switch up your style whenever you want!
3. Can I return an item?
Returns are a hassle for everyone. Since these are custom made, and expensive to ship, we strongly encourage you to read our listing and our FAQ page prior to purchasing. We work hard to provide answers to many questions. Familiarize yourself with our return policy prior to purchasing. We are not a big box store and returns may not be what you are accustomed to if you shop box stores.
Your item is being made just for you. These are not pre-made. It is extremely important that you measure your space. Keep in mind color can vary from monitor to monitor so if you need color samples, just use our link to order the colors you need.
4. What happens if my item arrives with shipping damage?
We really hate shipping damage. We use a ton of packing material to get your item from our shop to your home damage free. We want the moment you open your box to be a gloriously happy moment. FedEx and UPS take very good care of our packages, but things still happen beyond our control. It is imperative that you open your package right away and contact us within 3 days of delivery for assistance. If contact isn't made within this time, we are unable to help.
Although the damage is not common, like everything else, it can happen. If it happens to you, relax and know we will help you! Send us pictures of the damaged item and the damaged box. Most items can be repaired easily with help from us. This might include sending touch up paint or sending a replacement part. Almost any piece on the cabinet is able to be replaced by us and installed with minimal effort from the customer.
5. Can I get money back in lieu of parts?
We do not provide discounts or monetary compensation, please don't ask us, it is very awkward for us..... but we will happily provide repair pieces to get your purchase up and running as quickly as possible.
I need help with feeders and food storage:
1. How do I measure my pet for an elevated dog feeder?
Determine the correct position for your dog's food bowl by measuring your standing dog from the floor under the front paws to the top of the shoulders and then subtract about 5-6 inches.
Side note... if your dog is like ours and drinks water like they are bobbing for apples, please clean up any splashed water. Also, check the drawer if you have one. This is a wood products and although the feeder itself is painted, the drawer is not. Feeders are made of the same material as our cabinets, baltic birch plywood. The stained feeders (or stained tops) will come with a clear poly coat on top of the wood. If you feel you need more once it arrives to you home, feel free to add it.
2. What are the hole sizes in your elevated feeders? Can I use my own bowl?
Our elevated feeders have a hole size of 7 5/16 for the 2-quart bowls and 9 inches for the 3 quarts. Two bowl feeders come with 2-quart bowls. The 2-quart bowls hold 4 cups of dry food. Three bowl feeders come with two 2-quart bowls and one 3-quart bowl in the center for water.
You are welcomed to switch out your bowls once they arrive at your home. Just use the measurements provided to ensure they will fit. We are not able to change the hole size.
3. How high should the bowls be for cats?
When it comes to raised feeders, cats are a little different. They would rather eat crouched than standing up. According to the experts at Animal Wellness Magazine, “The ideal height for a raised feeder is the cat’s knee height (approximately 4” to 6”); this eliminates the need to lift up the head while eating or drinking.”
